Q: Guys...Tater? Is that real?
A: We really do call them that...for now! Tater is a fun placeholder for our little bundle before they officially enter the world. It started as a joke because of Sarah's love and rapid consumption of all things potato. This kid is probably mostly spud!
Q: What does Tater need?
A: We are registered at Target and on Amazon. You can find the combined registry at MyRegistry.com. The items there are the results of research and preferences that we've done together. We welcome creativity and hand-me-downs (please never stop sending hand-me-downs) with wide open arms!
Q: Do you need diapers? I know these new parents are gonna go through a whole lot of them! A: Andrew and Sarah have decided to forgo traditional disposables in favor of a diaper service that provides reusable cloth or fully compostable disposable diapers and wipes. Contributions to the diaperfund or gift cards to Tiny Tots would be the most helpful ways to enter the diaper frame of mind! You can also hunt through their registry for any diapering accessories that Tater will need to stay happy and fresh.
Q: Wait, did you say "THEY??"
A: Yes, to indicate gender neutrality, not multiple fetuses. You okay. We okay. They okay.
Q: Why wait to find out your baby's sex?
A: Why not? We're hoping to let Tater choose their path and let their personality and preferences dictate who they become. We already love them so much and we want to offer them a whole world full of possibilities without any pressure at all. Also, it's a fun surprise!
Q: When can I come visit the new baby?
A: We've decided (with some gentle urging from the doctor) to delay any visitors until September. This gives us time to adjust, learn, heal, and bond, just the three of us. Please make sure you are feeling 100% (no coughs or sniffles) and up to date on your TDAP and flu vaccines before scheduling a visit!
